Issues: Medium level of contamination from daily driving and incorrect washing method leaving heavy scratches and webbing on the paint surface. Medium level of contamination on wheels. Plastic trim and glass contaminated with dirt particles.
Solution: Paint decontamination with Feynlab® Pure Wash. An application Krystal Kleen Detail™ Tar-off is needed to remove road tar and glue deposits. Krystal Kleen Detail™ Ferrum Fallout Remover needed for the heavy iron particles. We finished the decontamination stages with a clay sponge and Mist X detailer. The paint was further refined using Feynlab® F50 Super Heavy Cut with a medium-cut pad, then Feynlab® F1000 Final Cut on a soft-cut pad was used to refine and jewel the paint to a bilnding shine. Wheels were coated using Krystal Kleen Detail™ Revolve-X to protect against brake dust and road debris.
These steps are done ahead in advance of an application of Feynlab® Ceramic Lite on the bodywork and exterior glass. The windscreen was instead coated using Krystal Kleen Detail™ Hydroglas. The interior was treated with Krystal Kleen Detail™ Lush Leather Cleaner and Gel Foamer. The exterior trim and hood plastics were treated with Krystal Kleen Detail™ Trim-X. Krystal Kleen Detail™ Revolve-X ceramic wheel sealant was applied to the wheels. All ceramic coatings were then cured using an infrared lamp.
Result: Paint surface restored to gloss finish after a lengthy period of time polishing to remove the deep scratches. Wheels protected with ceramic coating. Interior carpets and floor mats left contaminant-free after a vacuum. The glass is protected with the application of Feynlab® Ceramic Lite with the windscreen receiving an application of Krystal Kleen Detail™ Hydroglas instead. The cleaning process and products used have left the vehicle contaminant free and protected from dirt while daily driving. The car was returned to the customer left fresh and clean, ready for many more kilometres of daily driving.
