Issues: Heavily contaminated from daily driving and incorrect washing method leaving scratches and webbing on the paint surface. Extremely contaminated wheels. Plastic trim and glass contaminated with dirt particles.
Solution: Paint decontamination with Feynlab® Pure Wash and Prime. Prime fills in voids in the paintwork for an enhanced surface area for a coating to stick to. Wheels coated using Krystal Kleen Detail™ Revolve-X to protect against brake dust and road debris. Refinement of paint using Feynlab® A50 Super Heavy cutting Compound to remove the deep scratches. The paint was further refined using Feynlab® F500 Medium Cut with a fine foam pad.
These steps are done ahead in advance of an application of Feynlab® 3 year, topped with Overcoat. Treat interior using Krystal Kleen Detail™ A-Kleen then dress using Krystal Kleen Detail™ Trim-X to finish. Apply Krystal Kleen Detail™ Revolve-X ceramic wheel sealant to the wheels. Cure all ceramic coatings/sealants using an infrared lamp.
Result: Paint surface restored to gloss finish after a lengthy period of time polishing to remove the deep scratches. Wheels protected with ceramic sealant. Interior left contaminant-free after a vacuum. All glass is protected with the application of Krystal Kleen Detail™ Klear Glass Cleaner. The cleaning process and products used have left the vehicle contaminant free and protected from dirt and iron particles while daily driving. The car will become easier to clean in the future, saving the paint from future contamination from daily driving.
