This vehicle came to us in a very very sorry state. Years of use and neglect had left the interior looking aged and dirty and there was a layer of scum on the paintwork and wheels that needed attention.
Meticulous care on pre washing and washing using a highly lubricated shampoo followed by both tar and iron removal and finished off using a clay sponge and a spray detailer.
The paintwork needed a number of polishing stages to remove some surface webbing on the lacquer. The paintwork is refined using a finishing foam pad and Feynlab F1000 Final Finish ensures a uniform finish leaving a beautiful mirror like finish that leaves the vehicle looking like a new car and it wouldn’t look out of place being sold as a brand new car ! The exterior plastics were very very faded and were deep cleaned polish and coated in Feynlab Plastic black.
The interior had an intensive deep clean and a new set of genuine mats were sourced for the interior as was a new genuine boot liner for the rear which is now sporting a new floor thanks to the removal of the two rear seats near the boot door and the introduction of a flat floor. A deep of all of the plastics had it ready for a coat of Feynlab Plastic, the leather was also deep cleaned with KKD Lush Leather and coated with Feynlab Leather coating.
The exterior was then washed in Feynlab Wash and prime before 2 coats of Feynlab Ceramic and Overcoat were used to provide 3 years of protection that will see this jeep very well protected. The finishing touch was an application of Krystal Kleen Detail Revolve X to the wheels which were then meticulously cured using an InfraRed lamp to ensure an excellent crosslink between the paint and the coating.
The overall effect of all of this work is an professionally presented jeep that genuinely looked like a brand new vehicle both inside and out. Many thanks to the owner as this is the fifth vehicle that we have coated for him which is testament to how consistent procedures adhered to in a controlled environment create consistent positive results.
