This sweet little Renault 4 came into me for a tidy up originally which quickly turned into a full exterior paint polish deep clean on the interior which then morphed into mirror polishing all of the hinges on the rear doors and polishing all of the door jambs that had overspray on them from a previous owner.

We completed our safe wash and then moved onto tar and iron removal finished off with a clay sponge to leave the paintwork silky smooth. I then refined the paintwork until all of the swirling and marring was removed and applied Feynlab Detailer to the paint.

The engine bay had all of the grease removed and we polished the underside of the bonnet and the inner wings. The black bumpers were touched in and also got a coat of Feynlab Detailer to help protect against the elements.

Overall a very tidy car to start with that needed the final finishing touches to bring it over the line from a nice classic to a great example. It was thoroughly enjoyable to work on it and it was a lovely car to drive especially with the gear stick in the dash board it easily kept up with busy modern traffic.
