Issues: Heavily contaminated from daily driving and work use. The truck body and wheels were covered in road, brake dust and grime. Interior in need of a freshen up.
Solution: Paint decontamination using a safe wash method using Feynlab® Pure Wash which removes all grime from the paint. All panels were then de-tarred using Krystal Kleen Detail™ Tar-Off followed by Krystal Kleen Detail™ Ferrum fallout remover and the final step was to use a dedicated clay sponge and detailer spray to remove any remaining surface contaminants.
Feynlab® F100 Heavy Cut was incorporated with a selection of cutting pads to rid the body of the deep scratches and marks present. The body was then further refined with a soft polishing head with an application of Feynlab® F500 Medium and F1000 Final Cut.
Krystal Kleen Detail™ Si-STAL was then applied to the body which forms a film to protect and provide a layer against the elements and road grime, then topped with Si-COAT. This is a spray-on and wipe-off spray which provides excellent hydrophobic qualities, ideal for regular maintenance. Feynlab® Plastic was applied to the plastics which restored the surfaces to a deep black factory finish.
Result: Paint surface now left clean and contaminant-free. Interior left renewed and refreshed. The silica coating leaves the body and trim protected requiring a small maintenance wash in the future.
